Eat the BEST raw food-- grow your own!

If you are a member of the Raw Food Movement, you already know that eating raw food is healthy and will help you lose weight. But buying food from the supermarket that has been picked days, and sometimes weeks ago, and transported across the country, or even across the world, is far from the healthiest raw food diet you can eat. If you organically grow raw food yourself, you are eating the healthiest, freshest, and most nutritionally dense raw food you possibly can.

Growing your own raw food organically will ensure that you're getting nothing but the best-- no pesticide residue, no genetically modified Monsanto-spawned seed used, just good wholesome food the way Mother Nature intended!

The dangers of Supermarket Produce

Supermarket produce has been shown to contain high concentrations of bacteria, fecal matter and other contamination. Even if you wash it well, there are pesticides and herbicides that won't completely wash off. Commercial produce is also grown from hybrid seed that increases yield by bumping up the water content of commercial vegetables, so they're heavier. Problem is you're buying as much water as vegetable, and water doesn't contain nutrients, so you're getting less actual food. And some seed has been genetically modified. Genetically Modified foods have been tied to organ damage in humans, to bee colony collapse, and to other problems.

So here you are, trying to eat healthier, and trying to lose weight, and you're getting a bunch of bacteria, pesticides, genetically modified crap, and water instead of nutrients. What's a dieter to do?

Grow your own raw food.

Thanks, Art 4 Life! I'm going to TRY to post one a day, but since I'm freelance writing for a living . . . well, let's just say everybody needs a day off once in awhile. :-)

Well, I already blew it. I got a really meaty assignment for six in-depth articles yesterday and had to get to work, so I may only do a couple this week. Bills to pay and all that. I wish I had cow, horses, goats, etc.!!! Someday . . .
